Ruby Regan '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ruby Regan, I'm a '27 midfielder from Melbourne, Australia with 9 years playing experience in state, national, and international competition. I play for Footscray Lacrosse Club and attend St Michaels Grammar school. 

My goal is to play lacrosse at the highest level possible, playing Division 1 and then hopefully the Olympics!  Lacrosse has given me many opportunities to represent my state, Victoria, 2x at u15 nationals, and 2x at u18 nationals where I was selected to the tournament all star team in both 2024 and 2025 as a defender.

I was an alternate on the 2025 Victorian senior women's lacrosse team and played at the Senior nationals for New South Wales where I led my team in centre draw controls and assists. In 2024 I was drafted to the Melbourne Makos in the inaugural Major league Sixes tournament and I have been drafted again this year to the Adelaide Redbellies and am so excited to play again with such fierce competition. 

I was thrilled to be selected for the 2025 APLU u16 Australian Sixes team in Jeju, Korea where we won gold! I led the tournament in assists! I finished the championships with 11 goals, 10 assists, and 4 Caused turnovers and I was incredibly proud to represent my country 

My greatest attributes in lacrosse are my intensity, speed, and defensive IQ all of which help me to take on any competition thrown at me!

I am currently on an academic scholarship at my high school and my education is a massive passion of mine.
