Olivia Melton '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Olivia Melton and I am a Junior at Marshwood High School in South Berwick, Maine, I am a starter for our varsity lacrosse team. I am 6'1" and weigh 160 lbs and have been playing lacrosse for 9 years. So far, I have played 6 years of club lacrosse, my first year with Aggies Lacrosse and the last five with Lighthouse Lacrosse out of Portsmouth NH. I also play soccer for both my high school varsity team, club team, Global Premier Soccer, and ODP Maine.  There are also many extracurricular activities I participate in, including, hawk buddies, mock trial, latin club,  spanish club,  class representative, student government and the yearbook editorial staff. I am also a peer tutor and a teacher assistant in Chemistry. Although I play two sports and am committed to many different extracurricular activities, my passion is Lacrosse. I am committed to giving all of my effort to becoming the best lacrosse player I can be; which includes giving 110% in every practice and game. I have been described as a very coachable player that never gives up. I am a hard worker both on the field and in the class room with a 4.0/4.0 GPA and in all honors classes. I aspire to continue my lacrosse career at a academically challenging school. I look forward to speaking with all interested coaches.
