Since first picking up a stick, it has been a dream of mine to play lacrosse at the collegiate level. I am very lucky and have worked hard to have these opportunities. This sport has given me so many new opportunities and friendships. It is important to me to be a good person and a well-rounded athlete. I have played nearly every sport, and I notice parts of my lacrosse game have been improving from my experiences and drills in other sports. I have played softball for as long as I can remember, receiving a varsity letter in softball my sophomore season. Playing high school basketball has definitely made me a stronger defender in lacrosse through better footwork. My freshman year I triple-jumped for the track team, and received a varsity letter in pole vault. I placed 2nd in freshman conference in both events. While sports are the best thing that has happened to me, school is also very important. From 6th-8th grade I had a perfect 4.0, in my cumulative GPA for high school is a 3.8, including an academic letter. I also enjoying music, travelling, and quality time with my friends, most of whom are also student athletes. I’m proud to be considered a quiet leader socially, on the field and in the classroom, and plan to continue at the next level.
