I have always been aspired to play lacrosse at a high collegiate level. My goal is to play high level lacrosse at a school with high level academics. I have worked hard everyday in the classroom and on the field to reach this goal. I have always found the ability to excel at my sport commitments while maintaining my academic achievements, I love to do everything I do to the best of my ability; I always feel my best when I try my hardest. I am constantly working to become a better lacrosse player and better student. Whether that be on my bounce back in the backyard all the time, or studying and doing my daily work. I have been playing lacrosse for eight years, and I love it more and more everyday. I am different than most recruits, because I am a true leader. I was captain of both my lacrosse and field hockey teams last year in middle school. I was elected captain of both teams not only because I was on high honors or because I was the team's lead scorer, but because of my character. I am a supportive leader who helps my teammates out, picks them up if they felt bad about a play that went wrong, and constantly gives them feedback on how to become a better player. I am confident but not arrogant, and I treat everyone on my team equally no matter their size, skill level or age. I spent most of my time last summer coaching kids of all age and skill levels how to play field hockey for a club called "Cave Girl." It was a fun experience and it was nice to get a coach's perspective. So far this winter, I have coached lacrosse for kids in grades 1-8. Last two winters, I spent my time managing my middle school's basketball team. I have gotten over 40 hours of community service since June of 2017, from coaching and volunteering at the soup kitchen. I was part of the National Junior Honor Society in middle school. I was also elected to be on the middle school's mock trial team. I am not allowed to be inducted into the National Honor Society until my junior year of high school, but I am a part of the high school's mock trial team. I achieved high honors all of last year and I achieved honors in this year's first trimester. So far this year athletically, I have been a varsity starter for field hockey as a freshman. I have also been a part of the USA olympic pipeline program "Futures" for field hockey. My high school lacrosse season hasn't started yet, but I have been playing club lacrosse all year, and indoor lacrosse this winter. Playing high level lacrosse in college has always been a dream of mine, and I am excited to start this recruiting process.
