As a student athlete, I have always dedicated myself to doing whatever work is needed to be as successful as possible in the classroom and on the field. I started playing sports when I was 5 years old. In the next few years, my love for sports grew, as did my competitiveness. In lacrosse, I find the most satisfaction in playing defense. Denying the attack of the other team and regaining possession is what drives me. Playing on my high school team helps to improve my stick work and knowledge of the game. My club team, Granite State Elite is my chance to play at the level of competitiveness that depends on good teamwork and collaboration with my teammates. Knowing my teammates rely on me makes me push to become better. This is the level of play that drives me to improve my skills, my conditioning and my focus. College level lacrosse is the next step in sports for me. I will put in the time and effort needed in order to be successful at the college level. Academically, I have been a high honors student since middle school. As a high school student, I have taken AP level world history as well as honors level math courses, honors science, honors english and german 1 and 2. Next year, as a junior, I will be taking AP US History, AP english, and AP Calculus. I will also be taking anatomy and physiology and honors chemistry. My future goal includes working in the sports medicine field which allows me to apply my strong academic background with my passion for sports.
