Maeve Green '17 Recruiting Profile

I am 16 years old and in my Junior year at North Hunterdon High School in Annandale, NJ. My overall GPA is 3.6. I received an award of academic achievement based upon my success and am consistently achieve placement on my school’s Honor Roll. Aside from athletics, I am an active member in many clubs such as Interact, Student Ambassadors, Spirit Activities and the select program, Teen PEP. I am also an active participant in Relay for Life and Spike for the Cure.
 
Prior to high school, I was experienced with many years of competitive swimming, basketball and gymnastics. I first started playing lacrosse during my freshman year.  During that initial season, I started as a midfielder and began taking the draw and have since become consistent with placing it wherever needed. My stats for my freshman season were 29 goals in a total of 8 games. Sophomore year led to to greater success with scoring 46 of my team’s 121 goals in 15 games.  I have also been playing on the Hunterdon Storm Club Team during the summers of 2014 and 2015 where I play midfield and do the draw. The video contained in my NCSA profile includes highlights from this past summer’s Storm season. While being naturally right handed, I play lacrosse and basketball ambidextrously, with my left as primary.

Although lacrosse is relatively new for me, it has become my passion.  What success I have had thus far in this sport is only fueling my ambition to become that much better.  As I continue to grow as a player, that dream of playing in college is ever present on my mind.
