Ever since I first stepped foot on the lacrosse field in sixth grade, I knew I wanted to eventually play at the collegiate level. As a young athlete in the recruiting process, I know how important it is to work hard towards your goals. In my college career, I'd like to accomplish many of my aspirations including maintaining my 4.0 GPA, graduating with my bachelor's degree, being successful in the study of nursing, having a great lacrosse experience, and making amazing achievements and memories.
I come from a large family that has shaped me into the young woman I am today. I have four older brothers, Anthony, Derek, Dominic, and Vinny, who have inspired me and encouraged me to work hard in life. Both Anthony and Derek played football at Penn State, which makes me desire to play at the collegiate level even more. I thank my parents, Anthony and Nicole, for everything they do for me because they truly are the ones who make it all happen. Lastly, I am grateful for my boyfriend and friends who are always supportive and always down to get a lacrosse practice in with me.
I consider myself an accountable, coachable, and dedicated multi-sport athlete. My tenacity, communication skills, and knowledge of the game make me a great candidate for a team. I believe that it is just as important to excel in the classroom as well as on the field. What makes me stand out from others is my want for my teammates to succeed just as much as I do. I truly feel that a positive encouraging mindset can make a huge difference on and off the field.
