I took an interest in being a goalie the very first year of playing Lacrosse. I've learned that to be a great goalie I need to be an effective leader, be able to take instruction from coaches, and execute our team's plan for defense. I am always striving to be faster, have great stick skills and maintain a high level of athletic conditioning. I recognize I am always learning and improving, ultimately my goal is to take it to the next level and be a great teammate both on and off the field. I work hard to be effective at clearing the ball to achieve a fast transition to offense. I have a natural protective instinct and I feel that's what drives my passion for the position. I was extremely excited and proud to have been accepted into the Engineering Academy at Williamstown High School. I maintain a 4.0 GPA and have attended summer seminars for both robotics and civil engineering. My goal is to attend a school with a great engineering program and continue growing with a top-notch Lacrosse program. The excitement of playing lacrosse, the challenges we face together and knowing I have the support of my team are a few reasons why I love playing the sport!
