Growing up I have played many different sports on many different teams. I am a 4 sport athlete, who plays lacrosse, soccer, hockey, and track. Some people become shocked when I tell them, but over the coarse I have learned great time management skills. While also being an athlete, I am also a student. For me, finding the balance between sports and school wasn't rather easy. As I am currently a junior in the winter season, I have to find time for academics, lacrosse, hockey, and track. My academics are my main priority, I am a student before an athlete. After I finish all my schooling, I go to track practice to help with my running and endurance. Track has made me become a better lacrosse player by turning me into a more shifty and speedy attacker. I then go to lacrosse practice where I learn how to view the field and keep up on my stick skills and dodges. And my last practice of the day is hockey. Hockey has taught me the mental part of being an athlete. I started playing hockey in middle school, which put me behind all the other kids my age. As I am no where near being the best on my team, I know with hard work I could potentially be. This carries on to all other sports I play and how I go about my life. These sports have shaped me into the person and player I have become today.
