hello , My name is Aniya Smith I been playing lacrosse since 1st grade . I played for Long Island Top Guns for 5 years . Also played for NBGVL and the transferred to Sachem North High School. I play Mid-field and Defense . Mid- Field is main position. I also do cheerleading . Being raised in not only a family full of athletes but my town alone really makes you strive to do well all together. I want to not only make my parents & family proud but also my town . I want to be role models for lil girls out there . Being told that I wouldn't make it made me work harder . I would like to become a pediatric surgeon, I love kids . It would be a pleasure saving ones life's. History is my favorite subject , learning about the past is interesting and creates more ideas for the future . I plan to major in Broadcasting Journalism .My number one strength as a player is defense . I run fast too which helps on offense more . My foot agility & technique comes from dance & cheerleading . Im able to switch up with no problem. In my college experience I hope to learn different things. Venture out and explore more also get the chance to help my team make playoffs and make it to the Championship.
