My name is Kacey Carter and I am currently a Junior at Lynbrook High School, in Lynbrook, Long Island, NY. I have been a varsity starter since my Freshman season.in 2011, I was named All-Conference for Conference B-2 and my team won the Conference Champhionship.  I have three years of travel lacrosse experience and have been both captain and MVP on this team. I also run cross-country and indoor track in order to prepare for the lacrosse season. I maintain a GPA of 4.0 with honors courses and earned a SAT score of 1930 on my first SAT test. While captain of cross-country, our team won the Conference Championship. I received All- Conference and All- Division honors. I am looking to beat my personal record time of 3:16 for the 1000m during the next indoor track season, for which I am also an All-Conference athlete. Also, my ultimate goal is to balance achieving academic excellence and fulfilling my dream of playing competitive college lacrosse. I am seeking to attend an institution on the east coast where I can learn, work hard and exercise my strong leadership skills both on and off the playing field. I plan to attend a college or university with an outstanding academic reputation that will help me succeed in the fields of sports medicine , kinesiology,physical therapy or a related major.
