Rebecca Nutting '18 Recruiting Profile

I'm strong willed, willing to do anything to help better not only myself but the team as a whole, and determined to give 100% to not only being an amazing athlete but as a star student. I hope to improve my abilities as a goalie and to work on my weaknesses so that I am far better by the time I leave than when I entered college. I also hope to leave a lasting impact on the team as someone that worked hard, never gave up on something that was "too hard", and helped bring the team to a new level that they may have never been on.  

I began playing lacrosse in the fall of my 6th grade year and I soon began to play goalie for my school's club team after I was asked to do so during the middle of a tournament when the other goalie didn't show up. Ever since then I have loved the sport of the lacrosse and the feeling of family that comes with the team. I still remember the first tournament that we won in 7th grade and after it when everyone congratulated each other and left no one out, even if they only participated a tiny bit in our victory, that feeling has stuck with me throughout my time playing for Marcellus and I home it continues as I move into playing at the college level.
