Giavonna DeBono '23 Recruiting Profile

In 6th grade I started playing lacrosse on my middle school team. I played midfield, goalie, and defense. I permanently play defense for my travel team. I am an aggressive defender with great speed and footwork. I am comfortable running up the field and clearing. Other than lacrosse I was also a competitive dancer, with 3 national titles, until age 13 and a cheerleader. As a freshman I made the sophomore team for fall and winter seasons. During the quarantine, I started a fundraiser to feed lunches to front line workers and first responders. I used a small local business to make shirts and with the proceeds I bought lunch and delivered it to the police department and nursing home. I am also in all honors classes and participate in 4 school clubs.
