My goals as a collegiate student athlete are set to the highest of standards as I focus on attaining my Emergency Management Bachelor of Science degree. It is important that I find a Women’s Lacrosse program that will help to lead me down a path for success while I support the team’s goals for the same. As a lacrosse player, I am hard-working, passionately dedicated to my team and teammates and always put the needs of the team over my own.
What differentiates me from other recruits is that I play multiple sports, never singling one out because I am eager to have many new opportunities and experiences. In addition to lacrosse, these include several seasons of softball, swimming (year-round), soccer, field hockey and basketball. I was named Captain to several of those teams, including my upcoming senior year of swimming where fellow teammates elected me to the position. I’ve also coached young athletes in both softball and swimming.
By taking the next step and playing collegiate-level sports, I would be able to add yet another exciting chapter to my already unique story of sportsmanship and leadership.
Academically, I am currently training to be a firefighter/EMT. This includes passing Fire One, Fire Two and EMT Basic on top of my rigorous core courses and extra classes. I also serve as crew leader for my class.
Moving forward, I don’t merely “want” to play women’s lacrosse; I “need” to play in order to satisfy my thirst for competition and grow to be the best student athlete I can be.
