Haley Black '18 Recruiting Profile

I first started playing lacrosse my sophomore year of high school, I played defense and started every game. As a first year team we went 10-1 in our regular and made it to the second round of the playoffs. During this time I realized I wanted to do more for my team than just play defense, I wanted to help more on the field. The summer leading into my junior year I began running more and practicing my stick skills. Then my hard work and dedication played off when I earned my starting position at midfield my junior year. I enjoyed going after ground balls in the draw circle and feeding assists to my other teammates. I was so proud of my team and what we had accomplished, we went undefeated in our regular season. I am looking forward to my senior year this year hoping to leave a legacy and other great opportunities are to come in the future.
