Personal Statement

Hello Coach!

Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.  I have been playing lacrosse since second grade and I am currently the player in the Milford (Ohio) program who has played the longest.  For the 2022 season (junior year) I was named first-team all conference.  I played junior high lacrosse for four years because I had the experience and ability to compete with older girls when I was in 5th and 6th grade, and because at that time we had low player numbers for our team at the 7th and 8th grade age group. I am now playing lacrosse for the varsity team at Milford High School and for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club in Cincinnati.

I pride myself on being a positive and unselfish player.  I like to play lacrosse like a basketball point guard and I love when I get assists.  I was taught that on offense I should roll through the thoughts of 1) can I score, 2) can someone else score, and 3) what is the safest pass to move the ball.  On defense I was taught to make contact and then keep contact with the opposing player.  I always hope to make all of my teams better.

I also play varsity tennis and recreational basketball at my high school.  I was awarded the Coaches Award for the 2019 tennis season for having a positive attitude and implementing the instructions from our coach.  I was awarded the Milford Athletics Eagle Award for the 2020 tennis season for hard work, dedication, and discipline during the season.  I was selected to the Second Team All-Conference in tennis for the 2021 (Eastern Cincinnati Conference).

I have not settled on what I want to study in college yet but I do care about my grades very much.  I have good grades and my teachers would speak highly of my effort and participation.  If I had to say what I would choose to do in a career it might be something in the education field. Our local lacrosse organization named me as the coach of their K-2 and 3-4 lacrosse program when I became a Freshman in high school - and my high school coach fully supported my giving time to the little lacrosse players!

I hope to talk to you soon!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
