I have previously committed to Urbana University, but they have recently announced they will be closing after Spring 2020. I am still looking to play in college though and am thankful I still have a little time to find a new home!
Although I have not been playing lacrosse for a long time, it has made a huge impact in my life. I went from freshman year never playing before, to starting varsity sophomore year. I committed myself to the game and never looked back. My love for lacrosse grew quick, and it grew immensly. Therefore I want nothing more than to keep pushing myself at the next level. I would be a great asset to your team because once I set my mind to something I will do everything to achieve that goal. My strength and conditioning coach once said, "anyone can out skill you, but no one should out will you." I am hardworking and determined, so I will do everything I can to help the team succeed.
The biggest lesson I am taking away from this whole situation is that you never know the next time you'll be on the field. Don't take it for granted and work as hard as possible when we return to practice and games because it can be taken away at any moment. This situation has shown me I am not done yet, and I'm ready to prove it!
