Izabel Kickner '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Izabel Kickner, and I am a senior at West Albany High School in Albany, Oregon.  I picked up lacrosse at the end of my eight grade year and soon after, lacrosse became my sport.  I was fortunate enough to find out my sophomore year that I love playing goalie.  After I had transitioned to that spot from defense, I knew my aspiration would be to play lacrosse in college.   I believe I am a team player with strong leadership skills and driven to excel in my position with hard work and determination.  In my Junior year of high school, I achieved a goal I set at the beginning of that season of being ranked as one of the top goalies in the State of Oregon along with being awarded the First team all-conference.  What makes me different from other recruits is that I am not afraid of the ball, and I play so I have no regrets when the game concludes.  In academics, I work hard to achieve my goals just like I do on the lacrosse field, and I am very active with multiple social responsibility clubs. I have held leadership roles in both my athletics and academics along with my clubs.  I believe I can be a positive asset to your lacrosse team.
