Here is a little bit of information about me (and the link to my highlight video):
I attend Lake Oswego High School which is ranked the top public high school in the state and our lacrosse team is also the top in the State with six State Championships in the past 12 years, including 4 of the last 6 State Championships. I have been playing both lacrosse and soccer year round for many years and I started playing lacrosse after I moved to Oregon from Virginia in middle school and fell in love with it right away! I feel that every year, I am becoming a better and stronger player and that I will continue to grow this summer, through my senior year and when I get to college! I am a versatile player and am strongest at midfield and defense. My speed and athleticism are my best assets (high school varsity and high level club for lacrosse and soccer, track - 100, 200m hurdles, NW Regional Jr. Olympics in middle school, as well as competitive gymnastics through 5th grade).

Here is a clip of a letter one of my club coaches (Karl Granlund, [email protected], 503-706-3584) has sent bout me:
"Peyton epitomizes the word ‘athlete’. She is fast, quick, strong, skilled, and extremely coachable. One of the best all-around athletes I've ever coached. One example is when there is contact at full speed, she rarely falls, she somehow keeps her feet and regains control of her body. It creates a lot of extra opportunities on the field.
Peyton has a smile on her face about 99% of the time. When she doesn't, it's because she's 'thinking' about what's being said or how she's going to do what was asked. She's a very happy student athlete. I've never had to ask Peyton to do something twice. When we met almost a year ago about college, I recommended she improve her GPA. She did.
Peyton is a contributor and competitor. She works hard all the time. But if more is needed, she finds more. I really don't think I've ever seen her be average, regardless of the score or what we're doing in training. We all know - not every athlete is a competitor. Peyton is.
All of this speaks to her being a great teammate. She's happy, liked by her teammates, and makes them better because she's such a hard worker. "
Academically, my GPA is a 3.7 and my favorite classes are Anatomy & Physiology, AP Psychology and Physical Education. For the past two years I have been a Girl's Youth Lacrosse Official and this summer I am going to be working with our high school's strength and conditioning trainer as his assistant. I am an active member of the National Charity League where I work with a variety of philanthropies 30-50 hours per year, and have also been a dedicated Peer Mentor for special needs students at LOHS since starting high school.
