Louisa Sanchez '18 Recruiting Profile

    My name is Louisa Sanchez.  I just completed my junior year at Roseburg High School, Roseburg Oregon.  I am a 3.4 to 3.5 GPA student.  I excel in math and science.  I raise, breed, and show registered Simmental cattle and am active in 4-H where I am club president.  I'm looking for college opportunities that will  provide me with the coursework I seek and allow me to play lacrosse.  I love being a goalie.  As a tough farm girl, I am proud of my bruises.  I don't mind being smacked in the face or knees.  This last season I was the varsity goalie for the Roseburg Indians.  My team awarded me "most improved player" for 2017, and I was also awarded the league award of "second team all-league goalie, 2017".  I am looking forward for my senior year where I hope to improve even further in my performance and stats.  I attended a Nike Xcelerate lacrosse camp on July 16 -19, 2017 at the OSU campus in Corvallis.  I believe that this camp helped me improve and learn new skills.  I would like to practice and learn even more, however off season leagues and competitions are not available in my area.  I am currently searching for opportunities in which to further my abilities off-season and pre-college.

   My goal is to find a college that can assist me with the costs of tuition and housing, and allow me to experience intercollegiate competition while I further my education.   I make friends easily, and people find me to be "smiley" and sometime a little bit silly in my humor.   I am enthusiastic, extremely coachable, hard working, and respectful to others.
