Personal Statement
My name is Lauren Magnuson, I graduate in 2019 and am from Portland, Oregon. I have been playing lacrosse for 4 years now and have also played competitive basketball and soccer in the past. Currently I am a varsity athlete and starter for my high school lacrosse team and club team. Starting my career with Lacrosse Northwest and playing with girls at an elite skill level is what really made me realize that I want to play at the next level. I understand the kind of team player needed to be successful: one who gives 110% consistently, models good sportsmanship, and enjoys making others look good while at the same time standing out in their own achievements. I have learned so much on and off the field in the 4 years that I have been playing and cannot wait to learn more.
