When I was in 4th grade I received a flyer to play lacrosse at the local club. I had no interest or intention on playing but my mom insisted that I try something new. My first season playing was that spring and I picked up the skills very quickly. I quickly became one of the top goal scorers and one of the best players on the team. I instantly knew that I wanted to continue this sport forever. When playing lacrosse I enjoy seeing the field and reacting to what will happen next. I love the friends that I have made over the years and never want this journey to end. I am always working on different skills whether they have to do with strength, speed, agility, etc.
In order to continue my lacrosse journey, I tired out for my High School team and ended up making the Varsity team my Freshman year. During my freshman season, I started every game and played the entire length of each game. This pushed me to want to be even better and I became very determined to improve my skills. Not only do I work hard on the field, I also work very hard in the classroom resulting in a 4.0 GPA. I am also highly involved in Student Council and am a part of the club Green Cord, where I have completed over 300 hours of community service.
