My name is Paige McKim and I have been playing lacrosse since 6th grade when my middle school introduced lacrosse to our school. I played most midfield and took draws but I played some defense too. Currently I am on a travel team, Belles Lacrosse Club, it will be my first time playing with them in the fall. My primary position on Belles is midfield.
I think that I have a good visualization of the field and I am good with communicating on and off the field. I strive to help out and encourage my teammates to take shots, pass and catch with their non dominant hand, and offer them to try something new such as a new position. Even though my school team did not have a good record I still tried to keep my head up and do the best I can for my teammates. Lacrosse to me was all about creating a family with my teammates and having fun.
In the future I would like to go to school for Physical Therapy or an Athletic Trainer and continue to play competitive lacrosse.
