I was introduced to lacrosse in third grade when I was eight years old. I began goaltending in fifth grade when I was ten years old. With hard work and dedication, I believe that I have truly grown into the player I am today.
On the lacrosse field, I can be described as a vocal, aggressive, and determined player. As a goalie, I act as a leader on the defensive end of the field guiding and encouraging my teammates. I have full vision of the field at all times and lead my team as best as I can. I believe it is crucial for goalies to have the shortest memory while playing in a game. I use this tactic in games by lifting my teammates spirits after a goal is scored, or if we are losing. I believe that you practice how you play. Therefore, I am one of the most hardworking players you will ever come across.
Not only am I hardworking on the lacrosse field, but I am also hard working in the classroom. I maintain high grades in all my classes, as well as an impressive GPA. I complete all assignments and hand them in on time. I am in the Peer Mentor Program at my high school which interacts with elementary students in the school district. I take pride in both my school and community, and love to volunteer.
In the future, I see myself at a university where I can excel on and off of the field. I want to take advantage of all opportunities presented to me in this recruiting process.
