I started playing lacrosse at a competitive level when I was in seventh grade, but I began in sixth grade. However, I have been playing sports I was very young. Playing a sport in college has always been something that I have wanted to do, no matter what collegiate level that would be (D1, D2, or D3). It would be an amazing opportunity to have the chance to play at that level. Another thing I value is my education. The quality of education that a school can offer me is something that is very important to me along with athletics. I have started on my high school's varsity lacrosse team both my freshman and sophomore years, and I have lettered both years as well. Along with lacrosse, I also play basketball and have earned a varsity letter both years.
Every year in high school, I have maintained distinguished/high honor roll, and I work very hard to get good grades. School comes before athletics, so I make sure everything is always done. I am involved in honors courses that require a substantial amount of focus, hard work, and effort because I like to challenge myself inside and outside of the classroom. During my freshman year of high school, I was given the rotary club award that was given to me by my teachers who all voted for me and nominated me. I study hard and put a lot of time into my school work, and this is reflected in my grades.
