I have been playing Lacrosse since I was in 6th grade for a travel team, Valley Laxers. When I first started, I played Defense and Mid. I learned very quickly in those years, and it quickly became my favorite sport. When my high school, Holy Redeemer, started a girl's program in my freshman year I jumped at the chance to play. Since then, our program has gotten better and better each year. As a team this past season we got more wins, and we were much more competitive than in the past. I had my best season to date and improved my game to more of a complete player. I was also one of the captains this year. I’m very proud to be part of this program and I'm looking forward to my Senior year this upcoming year.
Personally, I have a good visualization of the lacrosse field and communication with my teammates on and off the field, which I work on every day. I'm very coachable and willing to adapt to whatever is thrown my way. Lacrosse to me is about creating a positive atmosphere with my teammates and creating a family in the process but make no mistake when it comes to playing I take it serious.
I'm a member of the National Honor Society, Student Leadership, Student Council and donate time to various events and organizations.
In the future, I would like to go to a school for Pharmacy or a school with Pre-Med or Pre-Dental. I would like to continue playing competitive lacrosse, keeping my goal of having fun playing competive lacrosse and creating a new family wherever life takes me.
