COMPLETED: Lax Inception (MD), Triple Threat (VA), Summer Classic (MD)

2013 Season Awards: All State (Team II), All East Region, Team Captain

I started playing lacrosse in Cold Spring Harbor, New York when I was 8 years old.  When I turned 13, my family moved to Tennessee.  Lacrosse wasn't as well established here as it was on Long Island and the local high school didn't have a team, but I found Cheetahs Lacrosse Club (the Premier club team in the Knoxville area) and started playing with them.  Cheetahs Lacrosse Club competes in the same league as the public and private high schools in East and Middle Tennessee allowing me opportunity for competition, growth, and development.  Even though we are a club with volunteer coaches and limited field space our team was able to make the Sweet Sixteen play-offs this year for the first time ever.  It was a really fun run. Personally, I received All Region honors the last two years and All-State this season. I was also chosen to play for state-wide, select travel teams (TNLAX, Team Tennessee) over the last couple of years giving me more opportunities to play with the best lacrosse players in the state.  I am excited about the opportunity to join with other committed players and play in a competitive environment.  I think there is much I can learn and improve upon.  My goal is to get into an excellent liberal arts college and play competitive lacrosse at the next level.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
