As an aspiring woman's lacrosse player I have always looked up to athletes. As I enter my senior year of high school I want to give back in a way that other girls can look up to me. I have the talent and drive to play in college and continuously show determination to perfect something that I haven't yet. I balance my school work and sports which has prepared me for entering college. In school I don't settle for basic or general classes, I strive for A's and B's in Advanced or AP courses. I recently took a summer college class in Health and Medicine that was 2 weeks long and went from 9 am to 5pm. Straight after finishing my class I would drive to lacrosse practice where I wouldn't get home until 9pm. Those 2 weeks really taught me time management and have prepared me most for what to expect in college. What makes me stand out is my versatility on the field. During club lacrosse I was played in all positions. I have experience in defense, skills for attack, and speed for midfield. Another thing that makes me stand out is my personality. I like to see myself as an outgoing and risk taking person, not just on the field but off. Meeting new people and sharing experiences that will last a life time is something I really look forward to in the future.
