My name is Adalie Shotton. In addition to being a serious lacrosse player, I am a good student and put a great deal of effort into my studies. I am part of a close-knit family where being kind, considerate, and accountable is a way of life. As a friend and teammate, I am positive, enthusiastic, and encouraging. Helping others is important to me and I enjoy participating in service projects.
In college, I am interested in studying Education to pursue a career in teaching. I am also interested in Media & Communications, Business, and Computer Science.
Playing the game of lacrosse has taught me how to quickly analyze a situation, adjust strategy, think creatively, and to never give-up. I am an excellent candidate for your women's lacrosse team because I work hard, I have very good stick skills, I have a hard shot - using both my left and right hands, vary ball placement at the goal, feed good passes, and know how to control the ball. I am a ground ball leader and frequently cause turn-overs through clean checks. Thank you for your consideration.
