I have played lacrosse for 11 years and it has always been an important part of my life. Having spent so long playing this wonderful sport, I have developed a deep understanding and passion for lacrosse. When I was younger, I was a star attacker on my club and travel teams, but freshman year I became a starting defender after one of my teammates got injured and had to be out for the season. Now, I'm a starting midfielder and I couldn't be happier, it's the best of both worlds. Playing on a team has helped me build many of the most important relationships in my life and taught me many skills, not only in the sport, but in life too. It is my goal to continue playing lacrosse at a D1 college. Academics are also an import factor to me when choosing a college. I'm not sure what I want to major in, but I'm considering some form of engineering, as math comes easy to me and has been the most enjoyable part of my school day. I’ve always had a “how hard can it be” and a “I’m not done until I’ve succeeded” mindset that has led me to try new things and consistently push myself to the fullest.
