Hey there, my name is Kate and I’m a 2024 attack from Christiansburg High School! I’ve been playing lacrosse for almost nine years and am so excited to get to know all of you. Aside from lacrosse, I’m also actively involved in musical theatre, color guard, as well as the secretary for the Teens For a Better Tomorrow club at my school. I’ve always loved trying new things and learning new skills, stepping outside of my comfort zone whenever I get the chance. Whether I’m memorizing lines for a school play, or trying to nail that question mark shot, I always put every bit of effort I have into what I’m doing while also having the time of my life. Growing up I was told to never do anything half way. I always make sure that my teammates feel supported and that they can come to me if they ever need something. I’m a very loyal, positive person and have been told that I always know how to boost morale on a rainy day. Of course, academics are of the utmost importance to me. I’d like to dual major in Psychology and criminal justice, and minor in theatre arts and sociology. I'm looking for a school that will push me to live up to my full potential, both on the field and off. Somewhere that encourages growth and mastery. I also want to be in an environment where student athletes’ mental health is a top priority to coaches.
