I think the thing I love the most about lacrosse is sharing every aspect of the game with a team; the idea that every player is a necessary piece of the bigger puzzle, and that something amazing can happen if everyone plays their role to the best of their ability. My character makes me a valuable member of a team. Integrity is very important to me and guides me as a person, an athlete, and a student. My military upbringing taught me that a positive attitude and a strong work ethic are the key to excellence, and that no one succeeds alone.
My competitive nature makes me suited for an athletic program that is looking to improve. Coaches consistently rate me as exceptionally coachable. I strive to perform above expectations in all that I do and believe that being open to criticism and guidance will only make me better on the field, in the classroom and in life.
