Hello, my name is Keely Fournier, I’m 16 and attend Rosalia High School and Eastern Washington University. I play for Spokane Stealth located in Spokane Washington.
I’ve played as a stealth goalie for three years now. As a goalie I take on a leadership role for defense, having to be the eyes and ears for the team as well as my goalie duties. I have overcome many challenges throughout my years of playing such as, not having a specialized goalie coach to help me since my freshman year, I’ve improved myself and worked hard every practice, game, and outside of the season. I have an average of 75-83% saves a game, I had 88 saves to clears last season.
Outside of lacrosse, I do full-time Running Start, taking classes to help me graduate high school as well as, taking my nursing prerequisites. I’m coming close to the end of my first year of Running Start, and I’ve taken 45 credits worth of classes and will be attending summer classes as well which will put me at 55 credits that year. I also work part-time at a newspaper company doing police report records and have recently been creating my own stories from scratch.
I’m a highly coachable athlete, my main goal is to improve and become the best goalie I can be. I have always persevered through challenges and become a better athlete, student, and individual overall.
Thank you so much for your time.
