My college goals is hopefully to receive a rowing scholarship which will intern pay for my college education with my major being elementary eduction. My reasons and feeling in my career choice are due to the fact I love working with children. Also, when I was the age of 2 through 10 I received speech therapy and also had some hearing loss. In no way due I claim to have a disabiity as intense as others. I feel I do have the patience, and will love the path I have chosen.
I have been rowing for over a year, and would love to have the opportunity to be part of the crew in college. It has always been a dream of mine to row in college. I know that rowing in college is a once in a lifetime kind of thing, and I am willing to work hard to have that dream of mine come true. At my boathouse, I put on my game face. I work hard and push myself pass my limits. I make sure that all the equipment is working properly before I use it. I am very coachable, respectful to my crew family and coaches, a team player, and truly love the sport. I Madison Boice am willing to go the distance and work as hard as I need to.
In school, I push myself pass my limits as well/ I am a very dilignt and a hardworker. Being responsible is something I strive to achieve from homework, assignments, and test.
I truly believe rowing is an amazing sport that you can not tire from because it is different everytime. I believe that the team shouldnt just be a "team," but it should be a family that works and inspire each other.
My feeling in reference to rowing, besides loving the sport, is that I feel a rowing team is a family that works as one to complete their task and goals.
