Five short years ago, I decided to try the sport rowing and I've never looked back. I love how rowing focuses so heavily on both independent times and growth while it also focuses on teamwork and camaraderie. Unlike other sports I have tried, no other sport can compete with the feeling of crossing the finishing buoy with all of your closest friends. Since I've been rowing both my work ethic and mindset have improved. I am more motivated to put my best foot forward in every situation because of rowing. For me, rowing helps me relax and gives me a true purpose. I feel as though I was meant to be rowing and I truly cannot imagine my life without it.
