I am a 2025 Lightweight for North Palm Beach Rowing Club. I am a student in the International Baccalaureate Program at William T. Dwyer High School so I am very dedicated to my school work, as well as my dedication to sports. I plan on majoring in Political Science or being on a Pre-Law track during my time in undergrad, and then go on to Law School after graduating. Before rowing, I was on the Varsity Lacrosse and Weightlifting teams. I loved both of my sports but did not have any plans of continuing to play them in college. My dad, who rowed for UC San Diego, encouraged me to start rowing as a way to get in shape, and before I knew it, I was absolutely addicted to the sport. It has given me a new definitions of "pushing my limits" as my teams goal is to push past our mental and physical limits every day. I think that is what drew me into the sport to such an extreme extent: I had never competed with such determined, gritty, and mentally strong people. This environment encouraged me to improve my mental strength, physical limits, emotional capacity, and team collaboration skills. I think my resume and list of academic accomplishments as well as athletic progress summarize my commitment to my school and sports throughout the years. As this recruitment process goes on, I am so excited to build connections with coaches and team members, Thank you!
