Personal Statement

Hello My name is Ellie McClure and I'm hoping to be recruited to an American college.

I have rowed for 4 seasons, all of which consisted of rowing in my division one schoolgirl coxed 4. Noteable achievements in this boat in 2022 include 2 national titles at the Australian Rowing Championships as well as 2 titles in the schoolgirl open division 1 at Head of the Lake and Head of schoolgirls. Victorias premier school girl regattas.

I have then gone onto being selected as the stroke of the U19 Australian 8 that will compete at the Junior World Championships in Italy. This milestone has allowed me to take my rowing abilities to the next level and compete on the international stage.

By hopefully attending an American College, I will be able to continually develop my skills and abilities individually but also teamup with my squad to make lifelong friends and achieve a common goal.
