I am interested in Studying in America because there are so many opportunities that are not offered here in New Zealand, studying abroad is something that I have always been interested in doing. Specifically, Rowing is the reason why I am wanting to go to University in America, and I think that I would make a good fit for any team as I am determined, hard-working, and enjoy the team spirit of rowing in big boats, and clubs in general. I would be a useful team member and would love to be able to gain and share knowledge from other people's experiences. I would also love to be able to immerse myself in college life that is so different from what I would experience in New Zealand whilst gaining a fantastic education and rowing experience at the same time. I would further love the opportunity to benefit from world-class coaching and rowing. I think that what makes me different from other recruits is that I am really determined to perform not only the best for myself but for my teammates. My passion for rowing is huge. My wish is to secure a rowing scholarship as this is the only way I will be able to realize my dream of studying and rowing in the USA.
