Good day
My name is Erin Rogers and I am 15 years old. My inspiration comes from my previous Captain and present Coach Caitlyn Dace . Miss Dace coached 4 girls from my school including the actaul team into the junior worlds at Tokyo last year. My aspiration is the olympics, as clichéd as it may be. I believe with the right training i will have no problem getting to where i need to be. I am currently the 9th fastest u16 sculler in South Africa, unfortunately i was not selected for SASRU. Even though i do not have the same qualifications as other female rowers my age might have, i believe i have the most drive and determination to not only achieve those qualifications but to go above and beyond my own expectations.
i am also pursuing my equestrian talents and will hopefully have noticeabel achievements by the end of the year.
