My goals for college are to row on a competitive rowing team, improve as a rower, and make lasting friendships. I would make a good candidate for a competitive collegiate team because I am a self-disciplined and determined athlete who shows leadership skills and wants the best for her team. I really love rowing and work extra hard at everything I do as to not let my team or myself down. I also enjoy building close friendships within my team to ensure that we're all still having fun, even in a competitive or stressful environment. This attitude has brought me success in my academic career as well as in other sports. I currently hold a 3.87 gpa and aim for straight A's each semester. I find that this is a completely attainable goal when I apply myself and manage my time well. I am also a second degree black belt in Taekwondo. My first black belt test back in 2018 is really what sparked these attitudes within me and they have most definitely created the athlete that I am today.
