Arya Mehta '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a junior at Eden Prairie High School, excelling in school while contributing to my community and team. I started rowing in January of this year and have been on the Varsity team since June. Even though I'm still technically a novice my work ethic is strong and I am disciplined, hardworking, and driven at practice, which is why I'm proud to say, I was moved up. I competitively swam for 8 years on my club's varsity team, as well as playing softball on my school/club team for 5 years. Once I started rowing, I completely fell in love with the sport and knew that it was something I wanted to pursue post-high school. As a team member, I am loyal, kind, and humorous, making sure that everyone on the team feels like they are valued and respected. I know that I am a valuable athlete as well as a valuable teammate and will prove myself no matter what team I join.
