Ellie Tynan '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior at Bedford High School in New Hampshire, with hopes to continue crew into college.  I started crew my freshman year and fell in love with the sport.  It has taught me mental perseverance and how to push myself beyond levels I thought were impossible.  I always work hard and try to aim for better technique and scores each and every time I go out on the water or when I am on an erg.  This sport has been such a big part of my life these past few years, and I hope it will continue to play a major role over these next few.  In June, I was honored to be voted in by my teammates to be the captain for the 2021-22 school year. In my remaining two seasons as a high school rower, I hope to continue to not only push my self but my teammates.   I hope to continue my athletic career as I go into college.
