Personal Statement
I started rowing my sophomore year in high school, and immediately fell in love with the sport and the team. I am bow seat on the 1st boat, and I can't imagine not rowing in college. I am very motivated on and off the water, challenging myself academically at a very rigorous school and pushing myself to do my best for the team throughout the season. Team culture is very important to me, and I do my best to make it as good as it can be. You will often see me crouching down beside an erg, cheering on a teammate to PR. I love the sport and the team bonding that comes with it, and I hope to bring that passion to collegiate rowing.
