Hey, I am Estella Woodside, I am a 2024 athlete, and I attend Paul D Schreiber High School. I am part of the Port Rowing Women's Varsity Team. I joined the crew at the end of the fall season in 2021. I was only on the water for two weeks and then was put straight into the winter training. I really did fall in love with this sport on and off the water. I loved how all of my teammates continued to push me further every single day. I am always up for a challenge, and I am always trying to make me and my teammates better and faster on and off the water.
Rowing has had such an amazing impact on my life, It really changed my perspective on many things. It allowed me to really focus on time management, my academics and continuing to excel in rowing. I am able to challenge myself with my AP, and honors classes, and running a few clubs!
I am very grateful to be a part of the rowing team I am on currently. I can't wait to find a perfect school that is able to challenge me academically and physically!
