Eliza Osborn '21 Recruiting Profile

I am in love with every aspect of rowing. Being recruited to row on a Varsity College Crew has been my dream and goal since I started racing in 8th grade. Rowing in college would fuel my drive and passion to better myself on and off the water. I always commit myself to be the best teammate I can and surround myself with like-minded passionate rowers producing faster times and more medals. Being a student athlete requires balance. If your boat is set, it has the best capability for speed. Managing multiple Varsity Sports and AP level classes has been difficult, but when my priorities are well managed, opportunities for success rise. I have played multiple Varsity Sports through high school until my full commitment to rowing in 2019. My well-balanced schedule as well and nutrition and sleep have optimized my growth as a student and athlete. My motto for success has been "start early, work hard", and it has served me well thus far.
