Hi, I'm Emma Kovach and I am currently a junior at Saint Joseph Academy High School and I row for my scholastic rowing team. I used to do gymnastics but due to an elbow injury, I had to quit. I eventually found rowing at a summer camp and I fell in love with the sport. I am now in my fourth year of coxing. During those four years, coxing has taught me to be confident in myself and helped me navigate challenges. I have grown so much and learned so much doing rowing and I don't know where I would be without it. While I have had many obstacles, without them I believe that I would not be the coxswain I am today. I love working with my teammates and coaches to push ourselves to be the fastest we as a boat can possibly be.
