Hello!
I’m Callie Hilton, a junior at Wyoming high school. I have been rowing for 1.5 years at CJRC. Almost immediately after I began rowing I discovered my love and passion for the sport and all the comes with it, the grind, hardwork and comradery. The unique combination of competition and comradery is something that I thrive off of and where I believe I can be extremely valuable to a team. This passion is one major reason I hope to continue my athletic career in college. I believe in dedication through consistent hard work. I believe where I excel is my ability to push myself mentally beyond where I previously might have thought myself physically able.
Although rowing is a huge part of my life it is not the only thing I am passionate about. Environmentalism and business are two other major focuses in my life and both areas of study I would love to continue to peruse in college. Through multiple state and international competitions, accolades, and AP classes I have proven my love, dedication, and success in such fields that I hope to continue through college. I carry over my mentality of hardwork into my school work as well, where I have taken 4 AP’s, and 7 Honors/Advanced Corses.
