I am excited to introduce myself as an aspiring student-athlete with a strong passion for academics and athletics. I have been deeply involved in many sports (swimming, skiing, cross country and rowing) since a young age. Through my experiences, I have developed as an athlete, team player, and leader. The values of dedication, discipline, and perseverance I have learned through sports have profoundly impacted my character and approach to challenges.
I have recently (in the last two years) been introduced to rowing as a competitor. My swimming background of strength and fitness has been key to my rowing. So far, the highest level I have competed at is the Canadian Secondary School Championships. With guidance from my coach (Brian Price), I am improving very quickly. I am very coachable with a desire to learn and be the best I can be.
In addition to my athletic pursuits, I am committed to achieving academic success. I believe in the power of education to shape individuals into well-rounded, knowledgeable citizens. My academic achievements reflect my determination to excel in the classroom.
