Madeson Scott '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi!

My Name is Madeson Scott and I am a Canadian rower from Welland, ON Canada. I started Rowing 5 years ago in a summer learn-to-row program and it has been a part of my life ever since. I am currently rowing for the Ontario Next Gen Performance Centre where I train daily at a high-performance level.  After years of switching between sports, I settled with rowing because it was something that just clicked with me. I became passionate for the sport and everything that comes with it. I began to love every aspect of it from the early mornings to the long and intense afternoons. I fell in love with the feeling of adrenaline you get when you so desperately want to succeed and came to know how to persevere through the moments of defeat. Rowing became more than a sport to me when I found family within my team and a new version of myself within me. I am obsessed with bettering myself and determined to become the best athlete I can possibly be.

I am extremely interested in rowing competitively at a collegiate level and I am looking for a team who values success, hard work, and education as much as I do.
