There is no excuse for hard work in my mind. As the daughter of immigrant parents, being an independent and self motivated student and athlete has always been one of my biggest values. Rowing has and continues to guide me to achieve success within this goal everyday in ways I never would have imagined.
Rowing provides me with a daily reset. At every practice I bring a new focused and termined attitude no matter how my day previously was going.
Rowing has given me a family. Everyday my teammates show me a healthy amount of support and competition. Reciprocating healthy energy and support is so important when it comes to my athletic success and the success of my teammates working with me.
